Exciting debuts from Hilton Worldwide, IHG and Radisson Hotel Group take us from the great cities of the US to the beautiful capital of the French region of Normandy.

The last month has seen the introduction of several eye-catching properties around the world, not least the Eastern Seaboard and Western Europe.

Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta

Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta is now open in the mixed-use Windward Business District, which sits at the corner of Windward and Northpoint Parkways in Alpharetta. This eight-storey hotel houses 249 bright and spacious guestrooms and suites featuring locally sourced artwork, along with a glass lobby, Executive Concierge level, rooftop terrace, heated seasonal pool, cabana bar and 24-hour fitness centre. Guests also have easy access to the Big Creek Greenway scenic running and biking paths.

Onsite restaurant Härth is designed to act as the anchor of the hotel’s public space; this appealing venue brings American comfort food together with a fresh, contemporary approach, while Härth lounge offers cocktails and light bites in an indoor-outdoor setting with additional private dining room. Larger gatherings can be held in the property’s 6,500 sq ft event space, which comprises a ballroom, breakout rooms and executive boardroom.

The hotel was developed by Chartwell Hospitality in collaboration with architectural practice Rabun Rasche Rector Reece and interior design firm The W Group.

Hotel Indigo Miami Brickell

The latest addition to IHG’s Hotel Indigo collection is now open on SW 11th Street in Mary Brickell Village, part of the city’s financial district south of the Miami River that’s benefited from significant investment in recent years. Hotel Indigo Miami Brickell reflects its surroundings by telling a story of the neighbourhood’s Latin, Spanish, Native American and American folk influences, and the striking interior design of Sanchez + Coleman Studio combines a brutalist architectural style with vibrant colours and a mosaic theme.

The hotel is made up of 140 guestrooms decorated with local artwork, a photography-filled lobby, 2,000 sq ft of meeting space, a sixth-floor outdoor pool with terrace, and a 24-hour fitness centre with floor-to-ceiling windows making the most of its views across the downtown area. Meanwhile, Mosaico Kitchen and Bar highlights pan-Latin Miami flavours, with executive chef Manuel Sulbaran sourcing many ingredients from local farmers. Cocktails are served in this restaurant as well as the hotel’s lounge.

Sunview Companies developed the hotel in partnership with IHG.

Radisson Blu Hotel Rouen, France

Lastly, Radisson Blu, developed by Groupe Thélème in collaboration with architect CBA Architecture, has started hosting guests in the historic French city of Rouen. Its new hotel is centrally located, adjacent to the medieval Tour Jeanne d’Arc and within walking distance of the railway station.

The elegant Radisson Blu Hotel Rouen houses 93 spacious guestrooms and suites with balconies, the Le Jehanne Restaurant and Lounge Bar, six meeting rooms and a wellness centre complete with sauna, hammam sensory shower, fitness space and treatment rooms. This hotel provides a luxurious base for getting to know the rich cultural heritage of one of the most storied destinations in Normandy, home to prominent sites including the famous Rouen Cathedral of Notre Dame and Museum of Fine Arts.
