Bali rolls out the red carpet for Raffles

Indonesia’s Island of the Gods has celebrated the soft launch of its inaugural Raffles property. Featuring just 32 pool villas, Raffles Bali is the epitome of an idyllic retreat and focuses heavily on client wellness.

Michael Issenberg, chairman and CEO of Accor Asia Pacific, said: “We are delighted to introduce our most iconic hotel brand to the beautiful island of Bali. The highly anticipated Raffles Bali will be the brand’s second hotel in Indonesia, joining the stunning Raffles Jakarta, and is set to become a special retreat for guests to feel pampered, through meaningful experiences and service that is both gracious and intuitive.”

A new hotel offering spectacular views and sunsets

Katya Herting, general manager of Raffles Bali, added: “Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or an intimate oasis of emotional wellbeing, Raffles Bali offers unparalleled panoramic ocean views and captivating sunsets from every villa. Our beachfront resort is surrounded by lush tropical gardens, providing utmost relaxation due to its generosity of space.”

Perfectly situated on a site that overlooks the Indian Ocean, guests of the private pool villas can marvel at the famous Jimbaran Bay sunsets from the comfort of their very own exclusive deck areas. Internally, the villas are finished with natural materials, including hardwood floors, silk tapestries and rustic rattan furniture.

The topography of the complex affords exceptional vistas from the highest point, where the Rumari restaurant is located; local fare whipped up by talented chefs can be enjoyed from the venue’s sunset terrace. In addition, guests can pop down to the Loloan Beach Bar and Grill on the resort’s secluded beach overlooking a 25-metre infinity pool for a more casual dining experience.
