With some of the fastest growing brands across EMEA and South East Asia, Radisson is building an ever stronger pipeline of hotels, supported by partners such as PPHE

Radisson Hotel Group is celebrating its continued fast pace of growth, as it drives forward Radisson, the fastest growing upscale brand in the sector in EMEA and South East Asia.

In its upper upscale Radisson Blu brand, the group also has what is the largest brand in its segment, for the twelfth consecutive year. And in 2024, the pace of expansion has continued, with the British, Indian and Chinese markets the leading drivers of growth.

At the same time, new market entries in countries such as Montenegro, Indonesia and Laos mean the Radisson global footprint gets ever larger. Latest signings include a Radisson Blu in Kolasin, and Radisson Red Vientiane in Laos. At the Radisson Resort in Anyer, Indonesia the company will be testing new experiences for guests, launching a combined hotel with 120 rooms and a further 30 tent villas, spread among palms and just metres from the beach.

Relevant brands

The group has ten global brands, whose growth has been driven by a team headed by Elie Younes, Radisson Hotel Group’s global chief development officer, who commented: “Over the last five years, we have grown the business by nearly 50% and continue to achieve incredible results thanks to the trust of our partners and relevance of our brands. We find solutions in the current difficult lending climate and look forward to adding more hotels and resorts as we look ahead to the rest of this year.”

Helping support the growth has been an affiliation with UK-based hotel developer and operator PPHE, which has been expanding its portfolio with Radisson branded properties across Europe. Upcoming openings include a new flagship property in London, art’otel Hoxton, and the Radisson Red Berlin Kudamm, the first outing for the brand in the German market.

Signings in EMEA

Across EMEA, new signings include two properties joining the group’s Radisson Individuals collection brand, the View Hotel in Folkestone, UK and on the French riviera, La Villa d’Italie in Menton. More than 30% of new signings across EMEA in early 2024 were for Radisson Blu hotels.

In Asia Pacific, 2024 has seen strong traction for the Radisson Red and Blu brands. These include the group’s first property in New Zealand, the planned Radisson Red Auckland. Meanwhile in Phnom Penh, Cambodia both a Radisson Red and a Radisson Blu hotel with residences has been signed; and the group’s Indian pipeline has been boosted with the addition of Radisson Blu hotels in Ayodhaya and Lucknow, both in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
