Further expanding its presence in the fast-growing Turkish market, Radisson Hotel Group has just debuted its latest hotel in the country and the first in Izmir Aliaga.

This exciting offering from Radisson Hotel Group, which now has 31 hotels in operation or under development across Turkey, lies close to the Aliaga and Nemrut ports.

Expansion in Turkey

Radisson Hotel Izmir Aliaga is now hosting guests in what’s considered one of the country’s key ports and the gateway to Izmir, known as the pearl of the Aegean Sea.

Yilmaz Yildirimlar, area senior vice president in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey for Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We are pleased to expand our Radisson brand in Turkey with the opening of the fifth Radisson hotel in the country and the first Radisson hotel in the İzmir Aliaga region.

“The debut of our Radisson brand in Izmir’s commercial gateway and economic district marks a major milestone for our group. Turkey has always been a focus market for the Radisson Hotel Group, and we have made no secret of our ambitions to expand rapidly in Turkey.”

Ertugrul Uzak, general manager of Radisson Hotel Izmir Aliaga, added: “We are thrilled to open the first Radisson hotel in Izmir. Whether for business or leisure, our experienced team is ready to welcome our guests and we aim to create memorable moments as well as showcasing the historical values of the Aliaga region for our guests.”

A cultural or corporate stay

The hotel comprises 185 guestrooms and suites with private balconies and amenities such as work areas, high-speed wifi, plush bedding, and coffee and tea facilities. During their stay, visitors can have a drink at the Lobby Bar, pick up a treat from the Patisserie and dine at Hazar Restaurant, which serves Turkish and international dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Meanwhile, the property’s Spa & Health Club offers a range of therapies designed to refresh both body and mind. Events will be held in the hotel’s ballroom, three meeting rooms and six private offices, which are all equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment.

From the hotel, guests have easy access to Agapark beach, with its hiking trails, sports fields and picnic areas, and Sakran beach. Nearby areas of historic and cultural significance include the ancient cities of Pergamon, Kyme and Aigai.

Radisson Hotel Izmir Aliaga is a ten-minute walk from the Aliaga metro station. The scheme lies 60 km from Izmir city centre and 90 km from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
