Marina Resort Port Ghalib signifies the launch of Radisson Hotel Group’s newest brand, Radisson Individuals, in Egypt and Africa as a whole.

The opening of Marina Resort Port Ghalib, a member of Radisson Individuals, extends the group’s Egypt portfolio to include eight hotels in operation and under development.

A scenic setting

The new Marina Resort Port Ghalib, a member of Radisson Individuals, is located in Marsa Alam on Egypt’s Southern Red Sea Coral Coast.

This property places guests next to Port Ghalib’s palm tree-lined promenade and yacht harbour on the desert coastline of the Red Sea. By staying here, guests have direct access to the beach and the hotel’s own water park.

Tim Cordon, area senior vice president, Middle East and Africa at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We are pleased to welcome our first Radisson Individuals hotel to Egypt and open the doors to our fourth hotel in the country.”

“Marina Resort Port Ghalib, a member of Radisson Individuals perfectly complements our existing portfolio and is a great representation of the new Radisson Individuals brand in the market.”

A coastal experience

The hotel is home to 159 spacious rooms and suites with balconies overlooking the pool or marina. The property’s two-bedroom duplex suite comes with a kitchen, living room, dining room and reception area with bathrooms adjoining each master bedroom.

The gastronomic experience is then defined by the hotel’s lobby restaurant, La Brasserie, offering a buffet with live cooking stations, a lobby bar serving coffee with light bites and Marina Beach Bar, Splash Bar and The Nest Bar for refreshments by the coast or pool.

During their stay, guests have easy access to a number of attractions including the popular Marsa Mubarak dive site for marine life sightings.

On the opening, Samy Bindary, general manager of Marina Resort Port Ghalib, commented: ‘We are thrilled to welcome guests to our marina resort.”

“With our combination of rooms and suites, a water park for the kids and a wide array of restaurants and bars we have something to offer for everyone, coupled with our renowned Yes I Can! service philosophy.”
