Radisson-branded airport hotel lands in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia has welcomed a fourth Radisson Hotel Group brand to its shores with the opening of a 471-key scheme near King Khalid International Airport in the capital.
The long-awaited Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport has started hosting guests for the first time.
Radisson returns to Riyadh
Radisson Hotel Group has successfully launched its fourth brand in Saudi Arabia with the debut of Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport. It means the hospitality company now has more than 25 hotels, resorts and serviced apartments either in operation or under development across the Kingdom.
Tim Cordon, area senior vice president for the Middle East and Africa at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome our first airport hotel to Riyadh and bring an additional brand from our portfolio to the capital.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains a key development area for us, evident in our fast expansion within the country aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. We are thrilled for guests to experience this upscale hotel brand, which enables guests to focus on a work / life balance and find harmony in their travel experience.”
Where business meets pleasure
Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport boasts a convenient location just 25 minutes away from the city centre and 5 km from King Khalid International Airport, while its 471 units are a mix of duplex suites, three-bedroom villas and family connecting rooms. Family villas are kitted out with private pools, separate living and dining areas, plus fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities.
There are two onsite restaurants, the Lune all-day dining venue, and Kasbah Café, serving international fare and shisha. Meanwhile, events can be accommodated across 11 meeting rooms and an upcoming 1,800 sq m auditorium, and the hotel also features three outdoor pools, two indoor pools, separate ladies and men’s fitness studios, and a spa.
Christopher Pike, the hotel’s general manager, said: “With an ideal location next to the King Khalid International Airport and the perfect mix of rooms, duplex suites and villas, we can offer something for everyone. The entire hotel team and I look forward to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests delivering Radisson’s renowned ‘Yes I Can!’ service.”
