The opening of Radisson Blu’s new 133-room hotel on the Caribbean island of Aruba is being timed to coincide with the busy spring-break travel season.
The new Radisson Blu Aruba will open in late March 2021, just steps from the island’s Palm Beach Strip.
Aruba’s stylish new retreat
The upper-upscale hotel brand’s forthcoming property will host guests in an inviting location that’s just 20 minutes from Queen Beatrix International Airport. Designed to be as spacious as it is stylish, the 133-room hotel will incorporate a range of two- and three-bedroom suites with dedicated living areas and fully equipped kitchens.
Here, the lobby will lead to an outdoor space featuring an infinity pool and full-service bar; other amenities will include two more outdoor pools, a fitness and wellness centre, and two meeting areas. In terms of F&B, options will include the fine-dining restaurant FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar and the poolside Sunset Bistro.
“The Radisson Blu brand is a natural complement to premier leisure destinations like Aruba, and we’re thrilled to open this gorgeous new property,” said Frances Gonzalez, vice president of operations in Latin America for Radisson Hotel Group. “Having a 100% local executive team is the perfect gateway to all the island has to offer. We’re confident this hotel will deliver an authentic and luxurious guest experience for all who visit.”

A prime coastal location
The new Radisson Blu scheme is within walking distance of the ocean and provides a beach shuttle for even easier access. Interestingly, hotel guests can visit a designated lounge area to enjoy the white-sand shores of Palm Beach in style, or take part in water sports like snorkelling, catamaran cruises and water skiing.
The property’s also conveniently close to the restaurants, bars, nightlife and high-end shops of Palm Beach Strip, as well as Paseo Herencia and Palm Beach Plaza.
“Our team has worked tirelessly to open the doors of this exceptional hotel just in time for our guests to visit during the spring-break travel season,” said the hotel’s general manager Luigi Wix. “Aruba offers something for everyone, whether it’s adventure or ultimate relaxation. Our team of hospitality professionals can’t wait to begin welcoming guests and creating memorable moments that will last a lifetime.”
