Radisson Hotel Group and PPHE Hotel Group have announced plans to open the first Radisson RED hotel in central London, marking a significant expansion of the bold lifestyle brand into one of the world’s most vibrant hospitality markets.

Set to open in 2029, Radisson RED Central London will be developed on Leman Street, near the City of London and just minutes from Liverpool Street Station. This prime location places the property at the intersection of London’s financial hub and the creative pulse of the East End, close to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

Bold design meets strategic development

The upcoming hotel will feature Radisson RED’s signature avant-garde design and upscale select-service concept. PPHE has agreed to acquire a mixed-use site currently occupied by two office buildings, which will be demolished to make way for the new development.

Key features of the project include:

  • A minimum of 182 guest rooms
  • A restaurant, bar, and gym facilities
  • Additional office space

Greg Hegarty, Co-CEO of PPHE Hotel Group, said, “This site will be a great addition to our development pipeline as we continue to extend our portfolio and presence in the London market. It is an exciting project which leverages our ‘Buy, Build, Operate’ business model and expertise as well as our multi-brand and multi-market segment strategy. We look forward to bringing Radisson RED to central London, following our recent Radisson RED openings in Berlin and Belgrade.”

As Radisson Hotel Group continues to expand its lifestyle offerings globally, this latest signing underlines London’s ongoing appeal to innovative hospitality brands.
