Our latest luxury Project of the Week will form the tallest tower complex in Danang, Vietnam, when it completes next year.
Wyndham Soleil Danang comprises four towers stretching across a 2.2-hectare area of the city centre, less than 100 metres from My Khe Beach.
Tall tales
The 779-room hotel will be situated in a 45-storey tower, with the other three playing host to serviced residences – one of 50 storeys and the other two reaching 57 storeys and a height of 199 metres. All parts of the site will meet stringent international five star standards.
Developer PPC An Thinh Vietnam is leading the project in partnership with Wyndham Hotel Group, with UK-based architect Aedas providing the design, and consulting, supervision and project management by Artelia Group.
Coral design
The design inspiration is the intersection of heaven and earth, with the skyscraper quartet featuring a coral-inspired façade.
The project is the first in Danang to feature four infinity rooftop pools and two skybridges connecting three towers. Other onsite facilities include a spa, sauna, jacuzzi and gym, health centre, podium swimming pools and overflow swimming pools.
Foodie first
The development will also house the first five-star international restaurant in Vietnam with a capacity of over 1,000 people. The high-end rooftop restaurant will be located on top of the tallest building in the centre of the project.
Wyndham Soleil Danang’s other bars and restaurants are located in the podium, with one restaurant on a skybridge.
Comprehensive complex
The complex will also house 3,200 apartments ranging from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom units, conference facilities, lounges and business centres, a retail and dining precinct and parks. The shopping mall will be located on the first three floors of the building. Onsite childrens’ play areas will include a games room and a babysitting area.
The development was first announced in 2016 and was originally due to complete in 2018. Schedule slippage saw this first pushed back to 2019, then delays continued up to and then because of the pandemic. Construction is currently well underway though and completion is now due in Q3 2023.
