Two iconic towers are set to redefine the Istanbul skyline upon their completion in the coming years. We find out more about this jaw-dropping scheme.

A new take on Istanbul with G Wanda Vista

Turkey’s cultural capital Istanbul is set to receive an exciting new residential and hospitality project in the not-too-distant future. G Wanda Vista Istanbul is one of the most eagerly awaited proposals to come to the city in a while, and hospitality watchers are waiting with bated breath for its completion.

Made up of two towers linked by a podium at the bottom, the development includes the already sold-out G Yoo project, a lifestyle concept by the enfant terrible of the design world Phillippe Starcke, and G Wanda Vista Istanbul Hotel and Residences. The hotel will boast 150 luxury rooms, while there will be 320 luxury residences available for purchase.

China betting big on Turkey

The G Wanda Vista Istanbul development is the brainchild of Wanda Group, China’s largest investor in five-star hotels.

This will be the first Wanda Vista complex in Europe, and the group is excited about the growth potential of Istanbul. In particular, the residences are being billed as the most profitable investment in the city, promising guaranteed revenue for owners.

The project is located in the historic neighbourhood of Bağcılar, once a stop-off point for traders, and now a burgeoning business and financial hub. The development will be close to many retail and entertainment facilities, just a five-minute drive from the airport, and less than half an hour from the city centre – making it ideal for both business and leisure travellers.
