The latest hotel to win our Project of the Week title, The St Regis Los Cabos stands out for its coastal location, impressive F&B, destination spa and saltwater lagoon.

This five-star St Regis property, which brings together a wealth of luxury amenities, is fast taking shape in one of Mexico’s most sought-after locations.

A remarkable coastal community

Aiming to make its debut in late 2022, The St Regis Los Cabos will form part of the exclusive residential community of Quivira, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. This 1,850-acre master-planned luxury scheme is home to a village centre and private beach club, along with nature reserves and more than 20 miles of scenic walking and biking trails.

Marriott International’s St Regis brand originally announced that it had signed up to create a 120-room hotel and 60 residences on the site back in April 2017. The forthcoming resort will provide a base for guests to soak up the local gastronomic scene, natural environment and beaches of Los Cabos, while also getting to know nearby attractions like the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course.

SB Architects, Gomez Vazquez International and HBA are working on the design of the resort.

A wealth of lavish amenities

The hotel element will encompass 120 guestrooms, all with ocean views and St Regis Butler Service, along with fitness and wellness facilities, swimming pools, a saltwater lagoon and luxury cabanas. Moreover, visitors will be able to dine at the property’s specialty restaurant, all-day beachfront grill and outdoor poolside restaurant serving small plates with craft cocktails.

Last but not least, a destination spa will cater for both resort guests and locals, while dedicated spaces will be able to host a range of meetings and events from corporate gatherings to weddings.

The development team is working towards opening The St Regis Los Cabos in the fourth quarter of 2022.
