A dazzling new St Regis property promises to raise the bar for hospitality in Oman.
The Middle East’s stunning new luxury resort
Marriott International is working in partnership with Alfardan Group to create this major newbuild resort in Muscat. Currently under construction, The St Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort is expected to begin welcoming guests in the fourth quarter of 2022.
In total, the much-anticipated beachfront property will boast 269 guestrooms and suites, as well as approximately 170 branded residences. It’ll form part of lifestyle and leisure destination Al Mouj Muscat.
Ibrahim Jaidah Architects and Engineers, a subsidiary of Arab Engineering Bureau, is behind the project’s eye-catching design.
An attractive location
Visitors can expect a luxurious retreat with views over the Gulf of Oman on one side and the lush green landscape of the Al Mouj Muscat golf course on the other. Guests and residents will have access to a range of amenities within the Al Mouj Muscat community, including this 18-hole championship golf course, a clubhouse with water sports activities, and a 360-berth marina with retail and dining options.
The property will embody key characteristics of the St Regis brand, including its signature butler service. There’ll also be five speciality restaurants, not least the St Regis Bar, as well as a spa, outdoor pool and vast 1,100 sq m ballroom for hosting corporate and social occasions.
The St Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort aims to appeal to business and leisure travellers alike, with the city’s central business district, convention centre, Mutrah Souq and Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque all within easy reach.
