The Chinese-inspired Diaoyutai Mansion Frankfurt will open its doors early 2020 and welcome guests to a world of regal Chinese opulence.

Frankfurt gears up to welcome a slice of China right in the heart of the German banking capital. The Diaoyutai Mansion Frankfurt is where “Chinese mythology meets Frankfurt’s skyline”.

We find out more about this unique offering.

Chinese glamour in Frankfurt

Following a few years of false starts, the long-awaited Diaoyutai Mansion Frankfurt is finally set to welcome guests early next year.

The hotel, located beside the city’s racetrack and golf course, is one of a kind offering from Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality and is the group’s first and currently the only hotel in Europe.

Part resort, part destination hotel, the Diaoyutai Mansion Frankfurt is unlike any other property in the city and offers guests the chance to experience Asian hospitality on European soil.

This new build property will open its doors early 2020 and is a combination of traditional Chinese elegance combined with the luxury of contemporary international services and standards.

East meets West at Diaoyutai Mansion

Guests will delight in the unique offering proposed by the Diaoyutai Mansion Frankfurt. Although the hotel is a new build property, it takes its cues from the ancient Chinese pagodas in the roof structure, while the service is akin to an urban resort, an Asian oasis in the middle of the commercial centre of Frankfurt.

The hotel will boast 214 immaculately executed rooms and 41 luxurious suites, each of which have been carefully designed and furnished.

In the guest rooms, a variety of textures, textiles and furnishings create a comfortable yet stylish ambience, with cultural influences taken directly from China in the artworks and decorative objects.

The lobby’s design alone will stun visitors, who will immediately be charmed by its opulence and decoration. A double-height entrance area exudes Chinese sophistication and elegance, with red pillars rising to the ceiling, which is gilded with gold, while traditional screens separate the various seating areas.

As for the entertainment on offer in the hotel, guests can expect karaoke bars, games of Mah-jong and pool rooms.

The state-of-the-art spa has a serene swimming pool with expansive ceiling light, allowing bathers to see the sky from the water.

There is also a Club Lounge for executives and several dining options which showcase the very best in Chinese cuisine.

Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality was established in 2007 as a joint venture of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse and MGM Resorts International.
