UCF gets an upscale on-campus hotel. Let’s see who likes it best… visiting parents, teachers, students or a whole other target market?

By summer 2020, the University of Central Florida (UCF) will get its first and only on-campus hotel.

We find out more about this upscale offering and what makes it so unique.

A heavenly project for UCF

Set in the heart of UCF’s campus, the new Celeste Hotel is inspired by the stars and will offer guests a ‘transcendent experience’ and an ‘expedition through time and space, with celestial influence from door to door’ or so the parent company Marriott proclaims on the property’s website.

The Celeste Hotel has a strong, independent character which makes it a perfect fit for Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, a collection of singular hotels which provide excellent service and tailored experiences.

Its luminous decor, cosmic accents and fittings inspired by the wonders of distant galaxies, create a hotel unlike any other. Paired with its outstanding upscale service, this will allow the operators to give their guests the experience of a lifetime.

Upscale hotel facilities in the middle of UCF

Set on the crossing of Alafaya Trail and University Boulevard, the new property will be home to 179 stylish rooms and suites, a cocktail bar and a restaurant with private dining venues serving modern American cuisine.

Guests are invited to while away the day by the pool, in a shaded cabana, or to enjoy parties and gatherings under the stars on the Celeste’s expansive lawn. Flexible indoor function spaces provide room for events during the rainy season.

Marriott International is based in Bethesda, Maryland and encompasses a portfolio of more than 7,000 properties around the world.
