The Address Residence will dovetail into Emaar’s existing hotel complex in the Turkish city and bring 197 luxurious apartments to Istanbul.

Istanbul’s famous skyline is set to get another swanky property, this time in the form of Emaar’s new extended-stay offering, The Address Residence Istanbul.

The Address Residence will offer serviced apartments alongside Emaar’s existing Address Hotel in the same Emaar Square development.

We find out more.

The Address Residence to open in 2020

Istanbul, the city known for straddling two continents, will welcome a new set of serviced apartments at the end of 2020, as The Address Residence Istanbul joins its sister hotel in the Emaar Square development on the Asian side of the Bosporus.

The Address Residences will be seamlessly integrated with The Address Hotel within its 49-floor tower. The Address Istanbul will house the hotel on the first 11 floors, while the remaining floors will house the impeccably executed 197 residences.

Both the hotel and serviced apartments will form part of the mixed-use development, Emaar Square, which will bring five-star luxury to everyday living. The Address Istanbul will add a new level of style and sophistication to the Turkish city.

Iconic international design

The Address Istanbul will be a 49-storey tower designed by famed British architect Norman Foster, who is the brilliant mind behind some of the world’s most iconic buildings.

Foster and Partners are responsible for the design of not just the hotel and residences, but also the shopping mall, entertainment megaplex and vast amounts of office and commercial space the complex boasts. Singapore-based firm Hirsch Bedner Associates will handle the project’s interior design.

Emaar Square expands Dubai-based Emaar Properties’ presence in Turkey

Ahmad Matrooshi, managing director of Emaar Properties, spoke of what the development means for the UAE company and its tourists, saying, “Turkey is today the most preferred European holiday destination for UAE residents according to reports, which makes the premium serviced residences desirable as second homes or long-term investments. With the project, we are also highlighting the competencies of The Address Hotels + Resorts in Turkey, the first international market for the hotel brand.”

He also commented on the desirability of Turkey as a place of investment for those from the UAE, adding, “The global launch of The Address Residence Istanbul in Dubai highlights the strong interest among UAE investors in Turkey’s property sector led by the bilateral trade relations and strong tourism growth.”

The Address Hotels + Resorts, a five star premium hotel brand, sets an all-new definition for global standards in luxury hospitality.
