Swiss-Belhotel is forging ahead with the development of its new property in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.

Swiss-Belhotel International is following through on its plans to expand in Egypt as it looks forward to the opening of its new property on Alexandria Beach. We find out more.

Swiss-Belhotel cements presence in Egypt

In 2017, Swiss-Belhotel International signed what would become its second property in Egypt. Now, three years later and amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the group is looking forward to the opening of the 4-star, new-build Swiss-Belhotel Marseilia Beach 4 in the final quarter of 2021.

Back when the deal was signed at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, Marseilia Group chairman Yasser Ragab said: “Swiss-Belresort Marseilia Beach 4 is a very significant project for us and we are pleased to partner once again with Swiss-Belhotel International to operate this fantastic property…We are confident their extensive global expertise and network will prove invaluable in establishing the resort as a popular holiday destination for visitors from around the world.”

Life’s a beach at Swiss-Belhotel’s new resort

The Swiss-Belhotel Marseilia Beach 4 will be a first-class hotel boasting 300 rooms, which are split between 150 well-appointed guestrooms and 150 private residences. Located on the stunning Alexandria Beach, the property overlooks the ocean and will appeal to both business and leisure travellers. For corporate guests, there is ample meeting, conference and events space, while tourists can indulge in water-based activities as well as dine and be entertained at a plethora of F&B outlets onsite.

Gavin Faull, chairman and president of Swiss-Belhotel International, said: “We are very excited to extend our relationship with Marseilia Group., especially as we already work closely with them on Swiss-Belhotel Marseilia Alexandria Beach, which is part of a massive 1,200-key mixed-use property. Swiss-Belresort Marseilia Beach 4 is a superb addition to our expanding portfolio of hotels worldwide.

“Egypt is a remarkable destination and these new projects are not only driven by a solid increase in demand for high-quality hotels in the country but also reaffirm the owners’ confidence in our strong and distinctive brands.”

Swiss-Belhotel International operates as a hotel management company in China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, and the Middle East.
