Our latest Project of the Week title goes to the fifth Mexico property of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

Rosewood Mexico City will occupy a new-build tower within the city’s flourishing Polanco district.

A significant development

On track to opening in the first quarter of 2024, the 133-key Rosewood Mexico City is set to become a part of the newly expanded Antara mixed-use development also home to office space, retail outlets, restaurants and entertainment venues.

The Rosewood hotel is to occupy the newly built grand tower of this site designed by the internationally acclaimed, Mexico City-based architecture firm Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts was appointed to operate the tower’s hotel by the premier real estate development firm Grupo Sordo Madaleno. This location will place guests at the heart of the city, within walking distance of Avenida Presidente Masaryk, Museo Soumaya and Museo Jumex.

Designed for guests and locals

On opening, the hotel will accommodate guests in 133 luxurious guest rooms, including 35 suites, along with an array of amenities designed for both hotel guests and the local community.

The property will be home to four food and beverage outlets including an all-day bistro, poolside bar and grill, living room and specialty dining venue. Meetings and events will be accommodated in 1,270 sq m of both large and intimate spaces throughout the property.

Rosewood’s signature wellness space, Asaya, will then comprise two swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness and wellbeing centre, eight treatment rooms and hydrotherapy areas.

In each space, the property will reflect the distinct sensibilities of the destination, which is a known hub of art and culture.
