Our latest Project of the Week title goes to an all-villa development currently taking shape on Singapore’s Sentosa Island, set in more than 100,000 sq m of tropical gardens.

This headline-grabbing all-villa resort will occupy an attractive spot overlooking the South China Sea.

Raffles’ growing international presence

In June 2019, Accor signalled its intention to create Raffles Sentosa Resort & Spa Singapore as part of plans to expand the luxury brand across the world. Each site aims to pair bespoke Raffles service with storytelling and a blend of history and modernity – and this scheme developed by Royal Group will be no different.

The new property on Sentosa Island, designed by a team that includes Yabu Pushelberg and DP Architects, promises to stand out for its ultra-luxury accommodation and amenities. It represents only the second Singaporean property for Raffles, which famously originated here in the 19th century.

Expansive views over the South China Sea

Raffles Sentosa Resort & Spa Singapore will be set in more than 100,000 sq m of lush tropical gardens and feature accommodation carefully crafted to make the most of the views over the South China Sea. Altogether, this property will encompass 62 villas ranging in size from 260 to 450 sq m, each with its own private pool and terrace area.

Amenities within Singapore’s first all-villa hotel are to include restaurants, a bar, a fitness centre and event space for both celebrations and meetings. Raffles Butlers and the Raffles Spa will also be among the brand’s signature inclusions.

Currently under construction, Raffles Sentosa Resort & Spa Singapore is expected to complete in late 2022.
