Our latest Project of Week title goes to the 2023-opening Pendry Hotel La Quinta in California.
This property designed to fit in with its Coachella Valley setting is a part of the SilverRock Resort development.
A new lifestyle destination
Expected to reach completion in the first quarter of 2023, Pendry Hotel La Quinta is a part of a development by Montage International and The Robert Green Company also encompassing Pendry branded residences, Montage La Quinta resort and residences, Spa Montage, an array of shared facilities and 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course.
The development is also home to a 71,000-sq-ft conference centre and a resort village with around 40,000 sq ft of retail space.
This major project includes the renovation of the Ahmanson Ranch House facility and its transformation into a public event centre for the resort. Other event space includes large outdoor patios and an event lawn.
The Pendry experience
The Pendry hotel will have 200 guest rooms, as well as 66 two- and three-bedroom Pendry Residences with access to all Pendry services and amenities.
Amenities within the hotel will include three food and beverage outlets, a fitness centre with access to Spa Montage, a resort pool and retail boutiques.
The design of this overall development is led by the architecture and design firm, Gensler, with a focus on mid-century modern design to fit in with the Coachella Valley location.
