One&Only Aesthesis garners our latest Project of the Week title as a glamorous retreat that’s taking shape on the Athens Riviera in Greece.
Locally inspired architecture, interiors and landscaping will provide the backdrop for luxury accommodation, culinary concepts and an impressive wellness offering.
Inspired design
Currently under construction, One&Only Aesthesis is expected to make its debut on the scenic Asteria seafront of South Athens in the first quarter of 2023.
Juxtaposing modern indulgence with inspiration taken from ancient mythology and local culture, this glamorous luxury lifestyle hideaway is being developed by Grivalia Hospitality in partnership with Kerzner International – the group behind One&Only Resorts.
This forthcoming property is designed by MUZA Lab, A6Architects and k-studio, with the landscaping of AUDO.
On opening, the new-build, five-star resort will accommodate guests in 127 luxurious rooms, suites and villas with sea views and mid-century inspired interior design.
Impressive gastronomy and wellness
Designed to honour the cosmopolitan sophistication of resorts in the ’60s and ’70s, this coastal retreat near Glyfada will offer an array of culinary, wellness and cultural experiences within its 21 hectares.
The resort’s culinary venues will focus on Greek and in particular Athenian cuisine with produce that’s sustainably and regionally sourced and vegan options as well as a celebration of local meat and seafood. The hotel’s two restaurants will be joined by the Olive and Sunset Bar for sundowners in a stylish setting.
Notably, the property will also comprise a Chenot Spa offering traditional and alternative wellness therapies as well as science-based beauty and health treatments.
The overall resort experience will be completed with the property’s programme of nature, cultural and urban experiences.
