Set to bring a taste of Spain’s Costa Del Sol to Dubai, the forthcoming Marbella Hotel earns our latest Project of the Week title.

Currently under construction, this exciting property is now taking shape in The Heart of Europe development within The World Dubai.

A new lifestyle destination

Master developer Kleindienst Group is behind the new-build Marbella Hotel Dubai, which is expected to open in the first quarter of 2023. The Spain-based design practice A-cero is leading the property’s architectural design.

The six-storey five-star property will house 191 luxurious apartments, ‘fisherman house’ suites and cave suites with each expansive apartment and suite featuring its own viewing deck.

This accommodation will be joined by six dining and drinking venues fusing the property’s Spanish identity with inspiration taken from its setting in Dubai. Highlights are to include a rooftop pool bar and restaurant, beach and pool club and La Cala beach for water sports.

The Spanish touch

Promising to provide guests with a Spanish hospitality experience, the hotel will have its clocks set to Spanish time, staff will be fluent in Spanish and the Euro will be used as the hotel’s official currency.

Cultural experiences at the hotel will include Spanish language classes, cooking classes and wine-tasting sessions. Adding to the Spanish feel of the property, ancient olive trees are being brought in from Andalusia.

As well as focusing on curating a Spanish experience, the property is being developed with both sustainability and innovation in mind.
