Project of the Week: Hard Rock Hotel Letná Prague
by Lauren Jade Hill | 22 Mar 2021 | Project of the Week, Projects
Promising to bring Hard Rock’s famous energy to the Czech capital, Hard Rock Hotel Letná Prague is a deserved winner of our latest Project of the Week title.
This five-star newbuild hotel will accommodate guests across 523 music-inspired rooms and suites, and offer memorable views over Letná Park and Prague Castle from the rooftop Sky Bar.
Music-inspired design
Hard Rock International and developer EP Real Estate are looking ahead to the launch of this major new hotel, which will be located just a short walk from Prague’s historic Old Town.
The scheme combines the considerable expertise of architect Pelcak and Partner and interior designer Fuse Studios. Other notable contributors include Technical Arts (lighting and audiovisual), Momentum (wayfinding), Emmaus Consulting (cost advice on the fit-out), Gleeds (project management and lead cost consultant), Tricon (foodservice and laundry design), Parker International (procurement) and Kevin Barry Fine Art (art consultant).
This forthcoming hotel will feature 523 luxurious rooms and suites, the rooftop Sky Bar offering far-reaching city views, and a sixth-floor specialty restaurant with a south-facing terrace overlooking the Vltava river valley. In addition, guests will be able to refuel at the all-day dining venue Sessions, featuring an ingredient-driven menu, and the Constant Grind Coffee & Bar for coffee and light bites during the day or cocktails at night.
An immersive hotel experience
Within the new property, there’ll be a 1,800-capacity ballroom and 59,000 sq ft of meeting spaces, complemented by the expansive Woodstock Lawn outside. Other facilities will include a rooftop swimming pool and full-service Rock Spa, plus the Body Rock Fitness Centre, Rock Shop and @Biz Business Centre.
Guestrooms, including the brand-signature Rock Star Suite, will come with in-room programmes such as the music-infused yoga programme Rock On and The Sound of Your Stay giving guests use of Fender guitars, amps and headphones.
The Hard Rock theme will also be reflected in the property’s three-storey Feature Wall, manifesting sound waves with LED lines, which can be enjoyed from the 17-metre-high atrium’s Lobby Bar. Adding to the onsite lifestyle offering, a Hard Rock Sports Bar decorated with sporting memorabilia will lie adjacent to the hotel.
The scheme is expected to open in Q1 2024.
