This week, Top Hotel News is looking to Alabama’s Gulf Coast for our Project of the Week. Hilton’s Embassy Suites Gulf Shores Beach Resort is due to open in August and will feature multiple exciting amenities.

All-suite luxury

Embassy Suites Gulf Shores Beach Resort will be spread over eight storeys, with 257 all-suite beachfront guestrooms as the key feature of the resort. It is the latest outpost of Hilton’s Embassy Suites, an all-suite brand with 257 locations worldwide.

In addition, the hotel will contain a lobby bar and restaurant, a rooftop amenity terrace with a bar and grill, and a pool deck and outdoor entertainment venue.

It will also prioritise function space, with 13,620 square feet of enclosed meeting and pre-function space, including a 7,800-square-foot ballroom.

The resort will also have a three-story parking garage and 7,618 square feet of leasable retail space, with a Starbucks planned for inclusion.

Opening soon

Embassy Suites Gulf Shores is situated close to the beach as well as the annual Hangout Music Festival, National Shrimp Festival and NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships.

It is also located adjacent to the city’s $15 million beachfront revitalisation project, which was completed in 2018 as part of a master plan to enhance the area.

Gulf Shores is located on Alabama’s Gulf Coast, which is located along the Gulf of Mexico. The region is served by the Jack Edwards National Airport.
