For this week’s Project of the Week, we’re going to jump on over to Türkiye. More specifically: Adiyaman. There, a new Hilton project is under construction. Doubletree by Hilton Adiyaman is a four-star, new-build city hotel project. When it opens in Q2 2027, it will offer 134 guest rooms and approximately 14,670 square meters of hotel space.

A Modern City Hotel

DoubleTree by Hilton Adıyaman is being designed as a modern city hotel catering to all sorts of travelers. Beyond its 134 guest rooms, the property will include food and beverage facilities, a spa and wellness center, entertainment facilities, a congress and conference center, and laundry and dry-cleaning services. The design work is being handled by Atolye A Mimarlık, which is serving as both architect and interior designer on the project, while Ahmet Bilgin Consulting is acting as the investor and owner.

In terms of scale, the hotel will offer a capacity of 248 beds across its 134 rooms, with a floor area of 947 square meters. Among the amenities planned are 38 rooms designated for extended stays, 4 meeting rooms, and a fitness center. The total investment cost for the facility is put at 374 million 848 thousand Turkish lira, and the project’s Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has already begun.

Hilton’s Wider Expansion in Türkiye

The Adıyaman property is part of a much larger push by Hilton in the country. The company has announced it will add more than a thousand rooms to its portfolio by signing 10 new hotel agreements spanning its DoubleTree by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Hampton by Hilton brands. With these additions, together with its existing and developing properties, Hilton will operate more than 120 hotels across Türkiye.

David Kelly, Senior Vice President of Hilton Europe, told attendees at a past conference that the company is in the most exciting period of its 70-year history in Türkiye, pointing to plans to open multiple new hotels and introduce new brands to guests.
