The brand new Warsaw Hub will be home to an exciting Crowne Plaza property.
The Warsaw Hub is a mixed-use development in the heart of the city’s newly emerging business district, and the hotel will appeal to business and leisure travellers alike.
We find out more.
A new Hub in Warsaw
The Polish capital of Warsaw is one of the most up and coming destinations in Europe at the moment, so perhaps it’s no surprise that there’s a whole host of development going on there now.
One of the most exciting new prospects on the horizon for Warsaw is The Warsaw Hub, a mixed-use development which will include office space, co-working facilities, meeting and conference amenities, retail and hotels.
This variety of commercial and hospitality spaces will spread over several towers gathered together in a cluster in Warsaw’s budding business zone, Rondo Daszyńskiego in the Wola district.
Crowne Plaza and Hilton Express at the Hub
The Warsaw Hub is not only close to the Rondo Daszyńskiego transportation hub, which gives guests access to all of the city’s sights, but it is also within walking distance of Warsaw Old Town, the National Museum and the zoo.
The hotels in the Warsaw Hub join a number of existing hotels in this bustling CBD area but will be all the more appealing to guests because of their location within this new development. Crowne Plaza Warsaw Hub and the Holiday Inn Express Warsaw will reside inside the new complex.
Crowne Plaza will be on floors 11 to 21 and will boast 212 guest rooms. The highlights of the hotel are a Sky Bar that affords guests panoramic views over the city, and over 2,000 m2 of meeting and corporate spaces, making it ideal for business travellers.
Holiday Inn Express Warsaw is a 218-key 3-star venue on floors 3 to 10. “Holiday Inn Express and the first Crowne Plaza hotel in Poland will complement The Warsaw HUB portfolio. They will also enrich the Rondo Daszyńskiego area, which is soon going to become a truly vibrant part of the city,” says Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial and Business Development Director, Ghelamco Poland.
4-star offering in Warsaw
The Crowne Plaza Warsaw Hub is a 4-star property with a youthful spirit, while at the same time maintaining an air of professionalism and efficiency. Materials such as marble and timber add warmth and opulence to the spaces, especially in the bar area.
The Sky Bar has comfortable pod seating to relax into after a long day of meetings and the guest rooms are executed in a neutral palette so visitors can have a calming oasis to retire to in the evening.
“We have seen a surge in demand for hotels in Eastern Europe and we’re excited to be adding to our portfolio through the Warsaw HUB. This development marks the first Crowne Plaza in Poland and our first dual-branded complex in the market,” says Miguel Martins, Director, Development Poland, IHG.
“We are delighted to partner with Ghelamco on this key development in a high-quality location and Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express are two strong brands that will serve the exciting growth of business and leisure visits to the city,” he elaborated.
Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts is a dynamic hotel brand currently located in over 60 countries around the world.
