Project of the Week: Conrad Orlando
This luxurious Conrad Hotels & Resorts scheme next to Walt Disney World, featuring 433 rooms and a signature rooftop dining experience, has won our Project of the Week title.
Part of an ambitious new vacation rental destination, Evermore Orlando Resort, the forthcoming Conrad Hotels & Resorts property is expected to complete in Q3 2023.
Dart Interests lands in Orlando
In January 2021, real-estate giant Dart Interests announced the launch of its latest project, Evermore Orlando Resort. The redevelopment of this 1,100-acre complex, previously Villas at Grand Cypress, aims to provide a fresh approach to the holiday rental experience; it involves creating the first wholly owned, large-scale community of purpose-built vacation rental homes, which will be operated to hotel standards and feature resort-quality facilities.
Evermore Orlando Resort will also be home to a new addition to Conrad’s portfolio. The under-construction hotel, Conrad Orlando, promises to offer sophisticated design, top-rated facilities and intuitive service, with sleek architecture courtesy of HKS Architects and interiors from AndersonMiller and Bamo.
Conrad tees up a host of amenities
The new Conrad hotel will comprise 433 guestrooms – among them, 51 suites and ten spacious family suites with all the comforts of home. This accommodation will be joined by a tranquil spa, multiple dining options including a signature rooftop experience and as much as 40,000 sq ft of indoor meeting space.
Notable facilities across the wider resort will include a 20-acre tropical beach complex and the eight-acre crystalline water amenity, Evermore Bay, designed with environmentally sustainable technology. The beach area, moreover, will include zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, firepits, an aquatic adventure area, a gourmet market, a casual restaurant and a two-storey Boathouse for events.
Meanwhile, the resort will have a total of 150,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor event space, and a new 18-hole Nicklaus Design golf course.
