A landmark development
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced its plans for this landmark hotel, which is being created in partnership with Mizrahi Developments, in May 2019. The 185-key Andaz property is now coming to fruition at One Bloor Street West in Toronto as the hotel component of a much-anticipated mixed-use tower.
In its prime location, at the intersection of Yonge and Bloor streets, this new property will connect guests to the downtown area as well as midtown’s high-end Yorkville neighbourhood and the upscale commercial strip along Bloor Street.
A design-led property
This exciting scheme, which is currently being built out, will reflect the Andaz approach of catering for well-travelled creative individuals who embrace their own style.
The 1,000 ft, 85-storey tower has been designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Norman Foster in collaboration with Toronto-based Core Architects, resulting in a concept that delivers plenty of column-free spaces throughout. DesignAgency has been brought in to oversee the hotel’s interiors.
Spanning the fourth to 16th floors of The One, Andaz Toronto – Yorkville will incorporate exceptional F&B experiences, a spa and more than 12,000 sq ft of event space when it opens in Q1 2023.
