The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott International’s prestigious luxury brand, is building up its presence in Arizona with the forthcoming opening of a 215-key resort spanning more than 20 acres.

This new property promises to deliver high-end accommodation and one of North America’s longest resort pools.

A hub for indoor-outdoor living

Developed by Five Star Development Resort Communities, this newbuild, 215-key resort will consist of casita-style guestrooms and impressive amenities, including a 16,000 sq ft spa and restaurants serving seasonal produce grown in its citrus orchard and garden. The architecture is being designed by Mason Architects and Nelsen Partners, with interiors courtesy of SB Design and BBGM.

There’ll be a private pool for spa guests, as well as a main pool; the latter, stretching nearly 400 ft, will be one of North America’s longest resort pools – and a real talking point for visitors. Additional amenities will include a 2,500 sq ft fitness centre, and indoor and outdoor event space, not least an amphitheatre and grand lawn.

The resort’s accommodation will be connected via shaded walkways and lush courtyard gardens, with large windows promoting the property’s focus on indoor-outdoor living.

An exclusive resort and residential community

Each space here will complement the views of the surrounding landscape, including the grand lobby overlooking Camelback Mountain.

The under-construction resort will lie at the centre of the US$2 billion, 122-acre master-planned community of The Palmeraie, surrounded by 81 single-level Ritz-Carlton Residences Villas ranging from 1,700 to 4,800 sq ft in size, and 39 single-family Ritz-Carlton Residences Estate Homes spanning between 5,500 and 12,000 sq ft.

These Ritz-Carlton branded, serviced and managed villas and estate homes will be whole-ownership properties. Residents will benefit from access to hotel services and amenities, as well as exclusives like a clubhouse with a junior Olympic-sized pool, plus a dedicated director of residences, a concierge, in-residence dining, housekeeping and engineering.

The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley is currently planned for completion in the third quarter of 2022.
