We check in with NH Hotel Wollongong, a forthcoming corporate hotel in New South Wales that’s promising to deliver a Sydney-quality experience combined with strong local elements.
This multifaceted scheme will feature an all-day restaurant, bar, coworking area, fitness centre and cutting-edge event space.
NH Hotels’ latest offering
A team that includes the likes of Next, Cre8tive Property and Held Property is creating the Wollongong outpost of NH Hotels in partnership with Minor Hotels. Andrew Burns Architecture is leading the architectural design of this newbuild property on the east coast of New South Wales.
Designed to appeal to business and leisure travellers alike, NH Hotel Wollongong is located on the corner of Burelli and Corrimal Street, providing easy access to the retail and arts precincts, the Win Stadium, public transport links, commercial offices and health services. The property also benefits enormously from its proximity to the beach and outstanding views of the ocean.
According to Held Property, the hotel will provide a ‘“Sydney-quality” experience whilst retaining strong local flavour by utilising Wollongong’s established producer environment’.
A new meeting hub in Wollongong
During their stay, guests will be able to make use of the property’s all-day restaurant and bar focusing on international cuisine, as well as an alfresco dining area. These F&B facilities will be joined by a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a lounge-style coworking space for casual meetings, conference and event facilities fitted with the latest technology, and ample parking.
Currently under construction, this 240-key hotel is expected to open in the second quarter of 2023.
