Late 2021 will see the arrival of the first Hyatt Centric resort in Turkey, as Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s upper-upscale brand enters the Bodrum Peninsula in style.

The forthcoming Hyatt Centric Yalikavak Bodrum will provide the ideal base for experiencing all that the Bodrum Peninsula has to offer. We find out what to expect.

Hyatt Centric makes a beeline for Bodrum

In 2017, Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that an affiliate had entered into a franchise agreement with Özkent Girisim Gayrimenkul Yatırım ve Ticaret to create a Hyatt Centric hotel in Bodrum.

Lifestyle properties within the Hyatt Centric collection focus on offering millennial-minded travellers an experience designed around exploration and discovery. This exciting addition to the brand portfolio, being developed with Varyap Meridian, will introduce guests to one of the most appealing destinations on the Turkish Riviera, often referred to as the ‘St Tropez of Turkey’. The scheme is to be managed by Access Tourism and Hotel Investment Consultancy.

In its exceptionally scenic location, the property lies just minutes away from the five-gold-anchor marina Palmarina Bodrum and its many restaurants, entertainment venues and open-air shopping mall. The resort is also easily accessible from Milas-Bodrum Airport.

A stylish stay on the Turkish Riviera

From its prime position on the coast, the resort’s 77 guest rooms with balconies and private gardens will command views over Turkey’s south-west coast. Designed by Loft Architects, this property will encapsulate modern Mediterranean style.

The facilities at Hyatt Centric Yalikavak Bodrum will include five F&B venues offering both international and local cuisine, as well as a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and an eclectic beach club. Of its sprawling indoor and outdoor spaces, more than 5,850 sq ft will be used for conferences and events such as weddings.

The resort is expected to open in the third quarter of 2021.
