Milton Keynes is set to welcome an impressive new landmark at its highest point – a 261-bedroom hotel complete with a panoramic lift and a 14th-floor sky bar and restaurant.

Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes will pair striking architectural design with enticing amenities for local residents, as well as business and leisure travellers.

A new addition to Milton Keynes’ skyline

Through its forthcoming Milton Keynes property, privately owned hospitality company Hotel La Tour aims to create a luxury four-star hotel offering with eye-catching amenities. Winvic has been contracted to construct the property, working with PHP Architects on the distinctive design.

The forthcoming hotel is set to become the first building to meet the Exceptional Developments policy in the Central Milton Keynes Alliance Plan, with a ‘Very Good’ BREEAM rating.

This exciting newbuild is located on Marlborough Gate in central Milton Keynes. Owing to its height, the towering property will provide expansive views over the surrounding area, which visitors will be able to take in from a panoramic lift and public-access space See:MK.

Memorable views and clever design

Altogether, this new hotel will feature 261 bedrooms, 12,900 sq ft of flexible conference space comprising five meeting rooms and an external terrace, and a 14th-floor restaurant and sky bar overlooking Campbell Park and beyond. Additional facilities will include a gym, spa and pool facilities.

The structure will be distinguished by an attention-grabbing split-tower mirror-finish form, which will be accentuated by its location at the highest point of Milton Keynes. A large stainless steel circle illuminated at night with an LED installation will dominate the east-facing façade.

Adding extra visual appeal, a large sculpture titled Cycloidal Form by the artist Keith McCarter will be placed adjacent to the canopy entrance.

The hotel is currently planned to make its debut in the first quarter of 2022.
