Project in focus: Finest Punta Cana

by | 29 Jul 2020 | Projects

The latest project in our spotlight is Finest Punta Cana, an expansive all-inclusive Caribbean resort by The Excellence Collection scheduled to open at the end of this year.

Following on from the success of Finest Playa Mujeres in Mexico, The Excellence Collection has set its sights on opening a new property in the Dominican Republic. We find out more about Finest Punta Cana and what will set it apart from other hospitality-oriented developments on the island.

A resort playground for all ages

The Excellence Collection is back on the scene with a sprawling new property planned for a beachside location in the Punta Cana area of the country. This will be its third property in the Dominican Republic alone.

Billed as ‘infinite excellence, for you to share’, the resort will doubtless appeal to both adult travellers and those with families, as this sprawling complex will be divided into two distinct sides: one catering to adults only in the western half and one focusing on families in the eastern section.

A new level of all-inclusive luxury

The resort will boast 455 all-suite accommodations catering to individuals, couples and families. A wealth of onsite amenities are planned, including 16 bars and 12 restaurants, ensuring there will be something for every palate. Additionally, two water parks will keep kids entertained during the day, while adults can rest, relax and rejuvenate at the state-of-the-art ONE Spa, which also features a fitness and wellness centre.

Among the resort’s main highlights are the exclusive clubs on offer in each sector. The adults area will benefit from the presence of the Excellence Club, while the families section will have the Finest Club. These clubs will offer upgraded accommodations, private amenities such as exclusive pools and beaches and members’ only F&B options.

This luxurious five-star newbuild resort will be open to receive guests from December 2020, just in time for travellers in major markets like the US and Europe to enjoy a relaxing Christmas getaway.
