We take an in-depth look at the Cooper Carry-designed Dream Atlanta Buckhead, an impressive scheme slated to make its debut in early 2022.

This forthcoming hotel will provide a stylish place for guests to stay in Atlanta’s burgeoning Buckhead district, known as the ‘Beverly Hills of the East’.

Atlanta’s new lifestyle destination

Created through a partnership between Dream Hotel Group and Cartel Properties, Dream Atlanta Buckhead will form a key part of a striking dual-tower development, boasting 200 guest rooms and suites as well as 90 private residences.

Cartel Properties is credited with playing an important role in Atlanta’s transformation story and the revitalisation of several areas including Buckhead. Dream Hotel Group, meanwhile, is known for creating individually curated properties following a contemporary design philosophy, with narratives informed by the locale of its hotels.

For each of its properties, the hotel and brand management company enlists the expertise of world-renowned architects and designers. The design for this exciting property is being led by Atlanta-based architectural firm Cooper Carry, with interior design from Meyer Davis Studio.

Highly anticipated for its lifestyle offering, the property will encompass a spa and wellness concept, plus five dining and nightlife venues – including a 17,000 sq ft rooftop pool bar and lounge. This hospitality space will be complemented by 80,000 sq ft of office and retail space.

A new cultural hub

Dream Atlanta Buckhead promises to provide a community and cultural hub that’s unique to the city. A neighbourhood recognised for undergoing a renaissance of its own in recent years, Buckhead is distinguished by its appealing architecture, tree-lined streets and lively retail areas. The new hotel lies north of the intersection of Peachtree Road, Roswell Road and Paces Ferry in Buckhead Village – an area popular for its culinary scene, walkability and boutiques.

On opening, the property will provide a base for travellers to explore Georgia’s capital Atlanta, from its rich history to its famed creative community. This city has the world’s busiest airport in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, while its Downtown area has the third largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the US.
