Project in focus: AC Hotel Ottawa
by Lauren Jade Hill | 28 Aug 2021 | Hotel Projects, Projects
Marriott International is working in partnership with RIMAP Hospitality to bring the design-focused AC Hotels brand to the Canadian capital in 2023.
AC Hotel Ottawa is shaping up to be a major new addition to the city’s lively hospitality scene.
Building up Ottawa’s accommodation offering
Created in collaboration with Prince Developments, this under-construction 208-key newbuild will occupy an attractive plot between Byward Market and the Rideau Centre. In this convenient location, guests will be able to easily reach Parliament Hill and the University of Ottawa, as well as a growing number of offices, restaurants and theatres.
It’s envisaged that the scheme will cater for leisure guests, business travellers and local residents in a space distinguished by its thoughtful design and intuitive service.
A focus on design
Upon opening, AC Hotel Ottawa will feature 208 contemporary rooms, complemented by appealing public spaces. Guests can expect to find stylish furnishings, hardwood flooring, open closet systems and plenty of art on display during their stays.
The property’s key amenities are set to include an AC Lounge, incorporating a bar serving craft cocktails alongside local beers and a menu of tapas plates, plus an AC Kitchen and a 24-hour wellness centre.
AC Hotel Ottawa is expected to complete in the first quarter of 2023.
