Hotels’ conference environments are often designed from a very functional perspective, opposite to guest rooms interiors’ details and character.

Being aware of that reality when designing the Hyatt Hotel New York interiors, VLDG architects and Nobutaka Ashihara paid particular attention to the more business-oriented areas in order to ensure a consistent and premium user’s experience across all hotel services.

Efficient space planning was key to their thinking, together with the high Hyatt quality standard.

They chose to implement XXL mobile partitions to ensure great connectivity and circulation while maximizing floor plant. Big format sliding wooden panels guided by KLEIN architectural interior systems create dynamic interiors, free of any floor track. They allow to easily merge or divide interiors, when needed. Wood immediately upgrades any interior design, generating positive feelings and a sense of quality while fitting any style. KLEIN’s softness and comfort enhances the whole experience.

The use of sliding frameless glass or wood panels around conference areas will certainly make your design statement and will answer many design challenges. How do we more fully open a conference space for ease of entry/exit?

KLEIN Architectural Interior Systems addresses this question by offering many options including telescopic, synchronized, or bi-parting systems for a maximized and clear passageway.

As Vennie Lau, from VLDEG, states: “Design is a journey, an “unmapped” process, a collective progression; but it all starts with an idea, an emotion, a gut feeling.”
