The Nikko Style Niseko Hanazono lifestyle hotel, which will be managed by Fujita Corporation, is set to land in the renowned Japanese mountain resort in 2024.
Okura Nikko Hotel Management Co has signalled its intention to launch a property in the most famous ski resort of Japan’s northernmost main island, Hokkaido.
Okura Group’s first ski resort hotel
Scheduled to make its debut in 2024, Nikko Style Niseko Hanazono will feature 234 guestrooms and suites, hot-spring facilities and a restaurant celebrating the ingredients of Hokkaido. Fujita Corporation is to manage the new property.
Toshihiro Ogita, president of Okura Nikko Hotel Management Co, said: “We are delighted that the Okura Group will be opening its first ski resort hotel in Niseko, one of the world’s best-known resort areas. We are looking forward to offering our hospitality to guests from all over the world in a setting where they will feel close to the majestic natural surroundings.”
This hotel will host guests in the Niseko Hanazono resort, which lies to the north of Niseko United, a ski area spread out at the base of Niseko Annupuri. Owing to its location, the hotel will offer access to winter sports and command impressive views of Mount Yotei.
Connection to the surroundings
The hotel’s 234 guestrooms, which includes 16 suites, will span eight floors above ground, with rooms on the top two encompassing bathrooms with a private natural hot-spring bath. Additional amenities throughout the property are to include open-air baths overlooking Mount Yotei, a club lounge, a fitness centre and banqueting facilities.
Travellers will be able to reach this resort in around 2.5 hours from New Chitose Airport.
