The new 898-suite Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Cancun will start welcoming its first guests on 15 December 2020.

Providing entertainment-themed activities and adventures for travellers of all ages, this luxury all-inclusive resort promises to provide a guest experience like no other. We check out the latest addition to Cancun’s world-famous hospitality scene.

Introducing a new adults-only concept

Planet Hollywood Hotels & Resorts is known for its luxury accommodation offering, which includes a variety of entertainment-oriented ‘Vacation like a Star’ options. But the brand’s newest property in Cancun, which boasts no fewer than 11 restaurants and an all-day movie theatre, is adding even more sophisticated features for 18+ guests.

A resort-within-a-resort, Planet Hollywood’s first-ever Adult Scene will have 332 suites featuring hand-crafted Phabulous Beds and ceiling-mounted rain showers. There will also be state-of-the-art technology infrastructure such as the Plugged In programme, creating a keyless and cashless environment, and Your Soundtrack, enabling customers to select theme music for their stay. In addition, a private beach, a pool with a swim-up bar, and two restaurants reserved exclusively for Adult Scene guests are all being promised.

Outdoor adventures in a stunning setting

Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Cancun’s water-based experiences will be spread across four pools – there’s a Shipwreck Cove, a Jurassic Splash Park, a Lazy River, and a FlowRider surf simulator. Other outdoor activities include mini-golf and a Labyrinth maze, plus the brand’s first-ever indoor Planet Play Adventure Park.

Typically, Planet Hollywood properties are situated in prime locations around the world, such as Pura Vida in Costa Rica. The new Cancun beach resort is on the lush Costa Mujeres peninsular, and there are also future plans to launch a property in Sint Maarten.

Planet Hollywood Hotels & Resorts offers an engaging and interactive experience, incorporating popular culture from movies, music, sports and entertainment into every guest’s stay.
