A major development featuring a 220-room, five-star hotel and 207 luxury residences is being lined up for a prominent waterfront site in one of Florida’s biggest cities.
Tampa’s hospitality scene has been boosted by the news that a landmark new property will open in 2024.
Targeting Tampa Riverwalk
Pendry Hotels & Resorts, Montage International’s luxury hospitality brand, has partnered with Two Roads Development to unveil plans for an exciting project in the centre of the Tampa Riverwalk. Pendry Tampa and the accompanying Pendry Residences Tampa are both scheduled to launch in 2024.
Inspired by the brand’s roots in the Golden State, the Pendry Tampa hotel will showcase a ‘modern coastal California meets Florida’ design aesthetic, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing exceptional waterfront views, lush greenery, light wood tones and subtle Gulf Coast accents. It’ll feature a three-meal restaurant, a lounge, a lobby bar, a rooftop pool and lounge, a kid’s club, a spa with eight treatment rooms and a fitness centre, and more than 11,000 sq ft of meeting space.

Pendry Residences Tampa, occupying the upper floors of the same building, will provide a fully serviced lifestyle offering across a range of one- to three-bedroom properties. Homeowners will be given exclusive access to residential staff, a lobby, an elevator and a rooftop pool and lounge, while they’ll also be able to benefit from turnkey ownership perks like personalised experiences, asset preservation and property management.
