Park Inn by Radisson Clark reveals new South Wing

A Park Inn by Radisson hotel in the Philippines has opened its new South Wing, adding 100 rooms and suites to the property’s existing accommodation offering.
Created to meet the projected rise in passengers coming through Clark International Airport, which is just ten minutes away, Park Inn by Radisson Clark has increased its inventory by 65%.
New accommodation for business travel
The hotel’s brand-new South Wing is now hosting guests in 95 superior rooms, complete with amenities such as work desks, IPTVs and standalone rain showers, and five suites, also integrating separate living areas and Nespresso machines.
Park Inn by Radisson Clark also features an outdoor pool, fitness centre, the HUES all-day restaurant, a lobby lounge and a snack zone, as well as three meeting rooms. The SM City Clark shopping mall, meanwhile, is located next door.
Andre de Jong, vice president of operations in Southeast Asia and Pacific for Radisson Hotel Group, said: “The unveiling of the new South Wing at Park Inn by Radisson Clark will enhance our ability to create exceptional, upbeat guest experiences.
“At Radisson Hotel Group, we appreciate the strong, longstanding relationships we have with our owners in the Philippines, SM Hotels and Conventions Corp (SMHCC). SMHCC has been instrumental in the rollout of Park Inn by Radisson’s new brand positioning and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them in future.”
Strategic expansion
Overall, the Park Inn by Radisson brand promises to provide a feel-good stay with stress-free experiences, laid-back charm and contemporary design; the ‘Yes I Can!’ service ethos adds to the upper-midscale brand’s upbeat attitude. The hotel brand has proven highly successful in the Philippines with four hotels in operation and another property, Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod, already in the pipeline.
The new South Wing joins the hotel’s 154-key North Wing, which has been used to accommodate quarantining guests who do not access the hotel’s public areas.
“We have been privileged to host quarantining guests in recent months,” said Ann Olalo, general manager of Park Inn by Radisson Clark. “The launch of our new South Wing will now enhance our ability to operate as a multiple-use hotel, catering to the needs of business travellers and returning Filipinos.
“With new domestic and international passenger terminals scheduled to open at Clark International Airport this year, our expansion will help us to cater for rising demand in all sectors of the market.”
