Zafiro is a technological entertainment system that has been installed in all the televisions in the 6,000 Paradores rooms.

From now on, guests can privately, securely and easily share the contents of their favourite applications in their room, as well as find out about all the services and facilities of the Parador.

Paradores de Turismo de España, the hotel brand with the best reputation both nationally and internationally, aspires to lead the markets in which it operates through its own management model based on sustainability, is now prioritising new technologies.

After an in-depth analysis of the market, Paradores chose Entertainment Solutions as the technology provider to equip all its hotels with ZAFIRO Cast, an entertainment solution based on Google Chromecast®, integrated with ZAFIRO WiFi as a captive internet access portal (hotspot).

Paradores’ decision to opt for Entertainment Solutions (ES) was determined by the differential characteristics of its solutions, as well as by the company’s commitment to carry out this ambitious project in record time: 6,400 rooms distributed throughout Spain in 97 Paradores and in a maximum period of 6 months.

This project has become the largest deployment of Cast and WiFi systems in Spain and thanks to the organisation of the company and the great involvement of ES staff, it has been completed even ahead of schedule,

ZAFIRO Cast is a revolutionary solution based on pure cloud architecture on Amazon Web Services (AWS) which, among many other possibilities, allows, from a single tool, the centralised corporate management of multiple properties, with maximum reliability and cutting-edge security, making it essential for large chains such as Paradores.

From mid-2022, all Paradores customers will be able to share the contents of their favourite applications privately and securely in their rooms. This is colloquially known as “pairing” or “cast” and is one of the technological services most in demand by guests, contributing to a complete connectivity experience throughout the customer journey. In this way, customers will be able to enjoy their favourite series or film at the end of an intense day of cultural or nature tourism, as if they were at home.
