One&Only’s collection of 5-star resorts just got even better, with a brand-new offering due to open this summer in the jewel of the Adriatic, Montenegro.

Set at the entrance of stunning Boka Bay, guests will be treated to unparalleled vistas of the sparkling Adriatic and will be able to indulge in a wide array of nautical activities, given that the hotel has its private marina from which boat trips around the coast can be taken.

This fashionable destination is becoming increasingly popular with tourists, who seek a more exclusive resort experience in one of Europe’s most captivating places.

Style and grace

The One&Only Portonovi’s architecture will be designed to echo the Venetian palace-style this part of the country is known for. Terracotta tiled roofs sit atop cream facades that contrast with the deep blue of the bay beyond.

The hotel will boast 113 guest rooms and suites, each of which will feature a contemporary hearth and some even have their private wine cellars.

There are also two private villas suitable for families and guests can dine at Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli’s restaurant Sabia, which will focus on southern Italian and regional gastronomy.

Wellness abounds

The resort will offer a unique and innovative concept in wellness, the Chenot Espace, a blend of scientifically proven programmes and traditional treatments that will bring clients on the “transformative journey of detoxing and resetting the body”.

Guests will have a consultation with a wellness professional, after which they will receive a programme of nutrition, fitness and treatments, all designed for a healthy mind, body and spirit.
