The global lifestyle brand founded by Robert De Niro, Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper has announced plans to launch a new hotel, restaurant and residences scheme in the Middle East.
Al Khobar is eagerly looking forward to the debut of this eye-catching luxury development.
Contributing to Saudi growth
Expected to open by 2024, this mixed-use project promises to stand out thanks to its waterfront location, facing the Arabian Gulf, and amenities including a wellness centre and swimming pools. Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Al Khobar will be developed by Al Khobar Sands Realestate Co, jointly owned by Retal Urban Development Company and Assayel Arabia.
This property will embody the service, distinct design and acclaimed culinary offering that the Nobu brand is known for. It’ll be home to 120 guestrooms and suites, along with a lobby-level Nobu Restaurant, a wellness centre, pools and events space.
Live the Nobu lifestyle
Nobu Hotel Al Khobar Residences here will provide a highly personalised experience with concierge service, in-room Nobu dining, priority access to Nobu events and decor that pairs the brand’s celebrated aesthetic with local style.
“The Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Al Khobar project aligns perfectly with our development plan that Saudi Nobu is enacting for Saudi Arabia in alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030,” said HRH Princess Dr Nouf bint Mohammed bin Fahad Aal Saud. “Nobu is renowned throughout Saudi Arabia, and we are planning further developments within the region.”
Trevor Horwell, chief executive of Nobu Hospitality, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Retal Urban Development Company and Assayel Arabia to deliver an exciting vision with the creation of a truly unique and transformative mixed-use destination in Saudi Arabia. As part of this, the Nobu Residences Al Khobar will deliver to the community the opportunity to live the Nobu lifestyle.”
