Nobu heads to UAE for the first time

Nobu Hospitality and UAE-based real estate developer Aldar Properties (PJSC) have joined forces to create a new site in Abu Dhabi.
The brand’s UAE debut, Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Abu Dhabi, will open in 2026 on Saadiyat Island.
Luxury facilities
The luxury hotel will boast 165 guestrooms and suites, including a Nobu Villa. Destination dining will include a Nobu restaurant with waterfront and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi views mirroring Nobu Malibu.
With access to over 8 km of beachfront, guests will be able to use a state-of-the-art wellness and fitness centre and swimming pools.
Situated alongside the hotel, the development includes Nobu branded residences offering a mix of multi-bedroom waterfront residences and penthouses with unobstructed views of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. Residents will experience high service levels and bespoke amenities.
Middle Eastern promise
Elsewhere in the Middle East, Nobu has two further projects on the slate, both due for delivery in 2024.
Nobu Hotel Al Khobar Residences will bring 120 keys to Saudi Arabia. The site will be located in the waterfront area of the city, facing the Arabian Gulf. The luxury complex will offer thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, a Nobu Restaurant on the lobby level, swimming pools, a wellness centre, and meeting and event space.
Plus in Israel, Nobu Hotel Tel Aviv is converting an existing site into a boutique hotel with 38 rooms, a large garden, fitness centre, pool, outdoor spaces and a private rooftop.
