Nikhil Sharma to head up Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Eurasia

Nikhil Sharma brings close to twenty years of experience in hospitality to his new role at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts recently named Nikhil Sharma Area Director for the group’s Eurasia region.
Driving growth in a promising market
In this new role, Sharma will be based out of the regional office in Gurgaon and handle franchise operations, revenue management, regional sales and lead the company’s marketing strategy.
Together with his team, he will oversee Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ growing footprint in India. His goals will be to boost revenue performance and brand engagement through high-quality standards.

An industry veteran with relevant experience
In his twenty years of working in the hospitality, Nikhil Sharma has worked with major international brands and held roles in business development, strategy and planning, revenue management and distribution.
In his last role, he served as the COO at Ginger Hotels and oversaw operations, growth, digital and loyalty strategies.

Sharma has both a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi and a certification from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
He can also look back on collaborations with several high-profile industry organisations, serving as Chair and Convener for Skills and Entrepreneurship, Confederation of Indian Industry, Delhi State Council, and the Steering committee of Confederation of Indian Industry.
