The newly built property has opened as the first NH Hotel in the north east of Brazil and second in the country overall.

This 210-key hotel is located inside the city’s 31-storey mixed-use Charmant building also home to retail and medical clinics among other facilities.

A strategic location

The NH Hotel Group, which is a part of Minor Hotels, has announced the opening of its latest property in Brazil, NH Feira de Santana. Feira de Santana, also known as the Princess of the Sertão, is the second largest city in the country’s Bahia state and one that proves attractive for its annual events as well as economic and educational potential.

“We are pleased to announce this addition to the NH Hotels brand in Brazil and establish the hotel as a key MICE and leisure destination in Feira de Santana,” said Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels.

“We work alongside partners in Bahia who are also committed to developing and enhancing the valuable tourism sector in the region and we look forward to working together to bring this new hotel to the market.”

Osvaldo Ottan, entrepreneur and owner of NH Feira de Santana, added: “It is a great satisfaction to be able to endow the city with a unique development and to feel the certainty that I have realised a dream with the opening of an NH Hotel. We look forward to offering a spectacular service to the visitors and residents of Feira de Santana.”

An exciting new meeting place

With its location in the Charmant complex, which was designed by the renowned architect Ivan Smartchevsky, this 210-key property is within easy reach of key locations in the city and just 15 minutes from Feira de Santana Airport.

The Bahian architect Sidney Quintela came up with the contemporary and cosmopolitan decor for the hotel’s interiors, which feature a selection of modern guest rooms and apartments, including disabled access suites, and amenities for both business and leisure travellers.

Facilities within the hotel span meeting and event space, laundry service, a gym, parking, a dedicated children’s area and wellness amenities including a dry sauna, whirlpool and rooftop pool.

A highlight of NH Feira de Santana is the top-floor SEEN by Olivier restaurant and bar by the Portuguese-French restaurateur Olivier da Costa. This restaurant will represent the SEEN by Olivier brand’s three pillars of environment, gastronomy and entertainment. Visitors can expect sharing dishes and craft cocktails in a stylish space with panoramic views and a DJ.

This property represents Minor Hotels’ commitment to expansion across Brazil. Properties under the NH Hotels brand are known for their relaxed and urban style.
