The new NH Collection Frankfurt Spin Tower opened on 1 May 2023 and NH Collection Heidelberg has benefitted from a renovation combining historic elements with modern design.
A new landmark hotel
Of these developments, the new landmark NH Collection Frankfurt Spin Tower stands out for its striking architecture and New York-inspired design in a central location of Güterplatz – the hotel occupies floors 20 to 31 of a new tower, which is built for environmental efficiency, by German architect Hadi Teherani.
Guests enter an 11-metre-high atrium lobby featuring an inviting Lobby Lounge. This space leads to the panoramic signature bar, Oaks at Frankfurt Spin Tower, serving the spirits aged in oak barrels it’s named after alongside cocktails and craft beers. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served from the open kitchen of The Spin focusing on both European and Asian cuisine.
The hotel’s 414 guest rooms and suites spanning 16 floors then feature the timeless New York-style interiors of Spanish studio Rafael de la Hoz and this accommodation is joined by 1,000 sq m of meeting rooms and a wellness area with gym and sauna.
This property is located at the crossroads of the financial district, trade fair and train station, providing easy access to many sites.
A historic transformation
In addition, NH Collection Heidelberg celebrated the completion of its extensive renovation, pairing original elements of the old brewery building with modern enhancements.
The hotel’s 168 rooms and suites, now decorated in gold and grey with imaginative artwork, are distributed across both the original and modern section of this newly enhanced site. Guests can dine throughout the day, from a breakfast buffet to a la carte dinner, in the hotel lobby.
NH Collection Heidelberg is located in the heart of the city known for being home to Germany’s oldest university, a baroque old town and a castle, as well as for being named the City of Literature by UNESCO in 2015.
