Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the debut of a 119-key property operated by Olympia Hotel Management in Harrisonburg, which offers impressive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Olympia Hotel Management has further grown its presence in college markets with the arrival of Hyatt Place Harrisonburg.
A new hospitality offering
The contemporary Hyatt Place Harrisonburg is now open, having been developed by Harman Realty, with Harman Construction serving as general contractor. This property, which is operated by Olympia Hotel Management, provides a convenient base for those looking to stay near Harrisonburg Crossing and the James Madison University campus.

Impressive mountain vistas
The new hotel houses 119 guestrooms and suites, with accommodation on the higher floors providing memorable views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its notable amenities include complimentary wifi, a 24-hour fitness centre, an indoor heated pool, 1,977 sq ft of meeting space, ample parking and convenient EV charging stations.
Moreover, guests are offered a complimentary breakfast at The Breakfast Bar, and served comfort food over lunch and dinner at The Placery restaurant and bar in the lobby. Regionally sourced ingredients are then showcased in the menus of Chef Dan Evans at the hotel’s premier dining venue, Ridge Room Rooftop Tavern.
Olympia also manages Hyatt Place Chicago-South University Medical Center, Hyatt House Mount Pleasant-Midtown in South Carolina, Hyatt House Tallahassee Capitol – University in Florida and Hyatt Place Cleveland/Westlake/Crocker Park in Ohio.
