Hyatt House grows its African footprint

Hyatt House Johannesburg Rosebank, only the upscale brand’s second scheme in Africa, has started welcoming guests. It represents the third Hyatt Hotels Corporation-associated property opened in collaboration with Millat Investments.

“In addition to the recent opening of Hyatt House Johannesburg Sandton, the opening of Hyatt House Johannesburg Rosebank is another significant milestone in South Africa’s recovering and re-emerging hospitality and tourism sector,” said Hamza Farooqui, CEO of Millat Investments. “With accessible flights now available from key markets, and the rising demand for extended-stay travel, the stunning Hyatt House Johannesburg Rosebank will be a warmly received home-away-from-home for travellers looking to experience the best of South Africa.”

Hyatt House Johannesburg Rosebank is the fourth Hyatt hotel in the Rainbow Nation.

Living like residents in Johannesburg

The new Hyatt House property offers 49 studio guestrooms and 31 apartment-style Kitchen Suites in one of Johannesburg’s most vibrant residential neighbourhoods, Rosebank, giving guests convenient access to a variety of high-end shops and renowned art galleries.

“Whether guests are visiting for a short trip or an extended stay, we know Hyatt House Johannesburg Rosebank is the perfect place to offer a personalised hotel experience that will make people feel right at home.”

The hotel’s amenities include a 24-hour gym and an eighth-floor pool deck, meaning guests can keep fit throughout their stay. There are also multiple F&B options onsite – The H Bar, a poolside establishment; The Collective, a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; and the 24-hour H Market.
