Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree recently opened in April and offers a nature-inspired stay where every element, from the design details to the structure itself, has been created to harmonize with the environment. The 338-room resort, designed by WOW Architects, was designed around the mature trees on the site, while the wings of the resort have been elevated from the ground to accommodate the movement of native wildlife. Guests arriving at Mandai Rainforest Resort are welcomed by two preserved heritage trees—a 12-meter Rain Tree and an Indian Beech—symbolizing the resort’s harmony with nature.
