Marriott International’s SpringHill Suites brand has freshened up Chicago’s historic Chinatown neighbourhood with the launch of a contemporary 148-key property.

The Windy City has welcomed the launch of SpringHill Suites Chicago Chinatown.

A feast for the senses

Conceived of, owned and developed by T2 Properties, this SpringHill Suites hotel boasts a range of different tactile, aural and auditory elements designed to awaken the senses. These include whisper-quiet suites, heated bathroom floors and premium amenities.

Sharon Espino, the all-suite hotel’s general manager, said: “We are thrilled to bring this unique project to an equally unique neighborhood in Chicago. This is the perfect location for those travellers looking for a relaxing yet exciting experience while visiting, and we look forward to showcasing all that we have to offer.”

Something for everyone

The new SpringHill Suites Chicago Chinatown aims to appeal to both business and leisure travellers; its 148 keys offer guests the perfect place to work, relax or rest, while they can also keep fit at the 24-hour fitness centre, which features treadmills, stationary bikes and yoga equipment. The property’s generous lobby, meanwhile, can accommodate informal meetings and catch-ups, and the boardroom is able to cater for a variety of functions, including small weddings.

Located at 2357 South Wentworth Avenue, the hotel offers guests convenient access to local attractions such as the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, the Nine Dragon Wall and Ping Tom Memorial Park.
